Look what just arrived in the post for me. My finished Me, Suzy P books…mmm, so shiny and new! They look fantastic, so a huge THANK YOU to the team at Templar for all they’ve done and making it look so wonderful. Not long now until they’re available to buy…

If you follow me on Facebook you might have seen my giddy excitement and mass postings about my book being on CBeebies. Seeing Baby Badger’s Wonderful Night being read on TV last night was an amazing – and very surreal – experience.  The husband was very exciting at seeing my name in the TV listings, and took a picture for posterity. However, Tornado Toddler bought me crashing right back to earth when I was saying we were going to watch Mummy’s book on TV, and he was insisting he’d rather watch Peppa Pig.

Floella Benjamin did a fantastic job reading it (although you’d expect nothing less from a TV legend). It was slightly unreal watching someone you used to watch when you were young saying words you wrote out loud. I loved what they’d done with the illustrations too, which looked beautiful, especially the way the stars were twinkling.
